Your Local Dealer |
Mostly they are very well informed But I did find most of them very off hand.
Using ancient phrases like "Run you fingers round a Ford door and feel the gaps" "Well is is a van after all" They did
not want to be shifted on price, just a small discout ( to keep the customer happy) |

Internet Shopping |
Some good deals can be found, but often too late and watch out for the extras. Credit card surcharges, VAT, delivery, insurance,
import charges. Most people who came to me with a good price, could not delivery when I made attempts to go ahead.

Refusal to supply |
We have seen lots of the 8 seat version on the continent, no one was prepared to quote for one. They talked of "conversions",
dealers did not know what the factory produced, just salesmen with a very narrow focus, no interest in anything they did not have
immediately available. No chance of a sale = no interest.. I finally got one quote from Vauxhall £19999 + VAT - forget it.
