In early 2003 we decided it was time to get a vehicle to last us for the next 8 years.
There must have been some strange reasons why we would buy such a vehicle
It seems on the surface totally illogical, but....

What we were looking for ?

Height
|
We have become accustomed to driving along with a grand view over other traffic and over the normal hedge height in the countryside, hence a minimum
requirement was a eye height of 1.7 metres

Comfortable
seating
|
We both are prone to back trouble, and have found the Trafic seating extremely comfortable for long distances
|

Good
looks
|
The new vehicle had not to be ugly. The fashion in the early 2000s was for ugly vehicles. This was not on.

Budget
|
I became obvious that a £13k minimum was needed, but we felt that £20k was getting a bit high, so somewhere in the middle had to be acceptable

I had seen the new Renault Trafic available as a 8 seater , but trying to get a dealer to admit to the existence of such a thing was impossible..

not in demand are plentiful. We were looking for the unusual choice, so well worth a look
